The Corporation Law of the Republic of Panama has been in effect since the year 1932 and has been only slightly modified throughout the years, providing security and confidence.
To be at the same level of other new jurisdictions, in 1997 a new Law made it possible for juridical people to act as Directors, Officers, Founders and Liquidators; as well as allow meetings of the Board of Directors or Shareholders Meeting by phone or any other electronic way.
